In the period from December  21st  to 24th 2009,  the Feed to Food Center researchers dr Jovanka  Lević, dr Dragan Palić, dr Aleksandra Mišan and dr Maria Bodroža-Solarov visited the IBNA Institute in Bucharest, Romania.

IBNA Institute has a long tradition. The institute was established in 1970 as the Institute for Research in Animal Nutrition, overtaking the activity of the former Research Institute for Animal Science, established in 1927. From 2006 it is Romanian National Research - Development Institute for Animal Biology and Nutrition. The institute conducts the study and complex, chemical, biological and nutritional analysis of the primary forage sources and of the finished products; it develops and disseminates of formulations of vitamin-mineral premixes, protein-vitamin-mineral concentrates and compound feeds for all species and categories of animals, making optimal, nutritive, economic and ecologic use of all the traditional domestic resources and of food industry by-products non-competitive with human feeding. Dr Catalin Dragomir  introduced researchers with work, opportunities, equipment and research potential of the Romanian Institute. On that occasion, similarities and differences between the institutes were analyzed as well as  planning and specifying the routes of future cooperation.
